Reporting to the Director, Fundraising, the Manager, Annual & Planned Giving is an experienced leader who is able to support the annual fundraising strategy, implementing processes, and executing results that work towards optimizing net revenue. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who can foster strong relationships with partners and donors as well as optimize current processes with action-oriented solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all platforms to ensure that business processes are in place such as acknowledging donors, processing gifts, and meeting the annual giving deadlines;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors/ stewards;
- Providing input into the annual fundraising strategy and managing the annual & panned giving aspects of the plan;
- Responsible for pulling reports and sending out summaries which include quantitative and qualitative analysis ;
- In partnership with Communications, leverage and create new and innovative digital content for online platforms;
- Ensuring the effective updating and utilization Raiser’s Edge including attention to detail in information capture and full confidentiality of file maintenance;
- Create and distribute activity calendars and outreach initiatives;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of fundraising experience, with at least 3 years in annual giving fundraising, ideally in a health care setting;
- Knowledge and connections in Peel and Dufferin region is considered an asset;
- University graduate in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and expertise;
- CFRE designation or in progress preferred;
- Previous experience using Raiser’s Edge software a definite asset;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to create relationships quickly;
- Superior written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong project management and organizational skills;
- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced fundraising environment;
- A detail-oriented individual who is able to multi-task effectively;
- Results-oriented and a creative thinker;
- Excellent computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite.
