Director of Development – ST. MARY’S GENERAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation is seeking a driven and committed Director of Development to expand programs and increase fundraising from a variety of sources, including annual appeals, community engagement, events, and major and planned gifts.

With annual fundraising increasing from $4M to $11M over the last 5 years, and a capital campaign on the horizon, the Director will join SMGHF at an exciting time of growth. Driving strategy for a variety of revenue streams, the Director will develop a monthly giving strategy, enhance the existing grateful patient program and grow the prospect pipeline in new and creative ways. Unique to SMGHF, 74-78% of annual donations are made as major and planned gifts, making this a great opportunity for a fundraiser with knowledge and skills in these key areas.

Reporting to the Vice President, Philanthropy, and leading a team of two direct reports, the Director will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Foundation, to further develop and execute the development strategies focused on continued growth. Applying strong relationship management skills, this position supports the CEO and Vice President, Philanthropy in their major gift work, playing a role to enhance volunteer involvement in pipeline development, and manage their own portfolio of major and planned gift prospects and donors.  Salary Range:  $115,300 – $128,100
