Qualification Criteria:

– Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in fundraising, public relations, marketing or a related field;

– Minimum of 3 years experience and a proven record of success in raising funds for non-profit organizations from government and non-government sources;

– Solid interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills;

– Ability and interest in working with and for diverse populations;

– An understanding of non-profit and social services sector;

– Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including design software i.e. Canva and fundraising data base programs;

– Experience producing print materials (brochures, newsletters, etc.)

– Outgoing, inclusive and welcoming in nature

– Resourceful, motivated and energetic

– Strong skills in website maintenance and social media best practices

– Superior accuracy and attention to detail;

– Strong organizational and time-management skills;

– Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for meetings and events when required;

– Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
