JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a fundraising oriented client support and corporate outreach role. Knowledge of fundraising practices is important, however, no direct fundraising will be required. Working closely with our team and using BridgeRaise’s proven tools and templates, you will work with our clients to build relationships and funding with potential sponsors.
You will support other BridgeRaise consultants in developing pitch decks, corporate prospect research and client meeting coordination.
Your areas of focus will include: social media research and stewardship, prospect and project based research, fundraising related prospect outreach and moves management and project management.
Detailed Responsibilities
Prospect Research and Outreach:
For select BridgeRaise clients you will work with BridgeRaise templates to:
- Conduct prospect research and moves management
- Complete research profiles on companies and charities based on a standard template
- Provide outreach, connection and follow-up including: corresponding with prospects on behalf of clients, setting up and holding early discovery meetings with corporate prospects in advance of more formal meetings between these identified prospects
Social Media Outreach:
You will provide regular social media moves and stewardship for BridgeRaise clients including:
- Developing, monitoring and engaging on social media to build corporate relationships using primarily Twitter & LinkedIn
- Develop “thought leadership” social media posts for BridgeRaise clients to raise their profile on social media
- Be up to date on the role of social media in corporate partnership and sponsorship, and support our BR team in integrating this into our client support
Administrative/Project Management:
- Develop and support meeting tasks and timelines, including drafting agendas and circulating follow- up.
- Project Management support or other related tasks
- Managing select client communications
- Review and format reports and presentations
- Execute all tasks with the highest focus on maintaining client confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential
- Weekly time tracking, reporting and updates, and other duties as required
The successful candidate must possess the following core skills:
- Be a confident, action-taker who likes putting themselves “out-there”.
- Well-developed relationship management skills with some experience building and maintaining partnerships with a range of donors or clients
- Actively engaged on social media and strong awareness of how to use twitter, linked in, Facebook/Instagram to build relationships and communicate organizational priorities
- Adaptable and flexible and having good judgement. Excited by the idea of working independently while asking for support when needed
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to creatively engage stakeholders, while working independently prospecting and account planning
- Performance driven and able to demonstrate perseverance in managing donor cycles including cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities while effectively utilizing networking tools
- Cultural competency; high commitment to being open-minded and inclusive
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through; ability to prioritize and multi-task with a high solution orientation
Education and Experience
- Minimum 3+ years experience in fundraising or business development
- Experience using social media within a volunteer or professional environment
- Preferred experience working with donors in the non-profit or charity sector
- Preferred knowledge of fundraising concepts and fundamentals and a track record of donor engagement and stewardship
- Proficient with MS Office, web-based collaboration tools and confident adapting to new tools and technology

Salary and Terms
Role is full-time, contract, based on a salary range of $45-55,000. Opportunity for extension of contract.
