As a member of the Advancement and Community Engagement team, the Manager, Annual Giving is responsible for the development, implementation and growth of all aspects of Branksome Hall’s Annual Giving program. Working with members of the Major gifts team, the Manager will also play a central role in identifying and cultivating campaign prospects through the creation of an Annual Giving Leadership program.
Key Accountabilities:
The Manager will be responsible for Annual Giving strategic planning, including developing the business plan as well as the stewardship and accountability plans for donors; creating and managing the program budget and forecasting revenue; and prioritizing target audiences and determining optimal solicitation methods for each target audience. The Manager will work to build a culture of philanthropy at Branksome Hall by leading the implementation of annual programs. This includes providing leadership to the creative direction of all annual appeals as well as developing and launching new fundraising programs, such as a parent peer-to-peer initiative. The successful candidate will manage and enhance a personalized Annual Leadership Giving program and maintain a portfolio of prospects for personalized solicitation activities. In collaboration with the Advancement team, the Manager will identify, qualify and cultivate leadership prospects for future campaign support. The Manager will analyze solicitation activities and provide suggestions and solutions for enhanced performance.
Candidate Profile:
As the ideal candidate, you hold a degree or related college certificate, along with five years progressive experience, with a successful track record of creating innovative annual programs that have resulted in increased participation and revenue. With a positive, can-do approach, you have a proven track record of effective project management, successfully setting priorities and meeting deadlines. A creative thinker with the ability to critically analyze projects, you are able to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate has a strong sense of professional judgement and customer service orientation and enjoys working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a goal-oriented environment. Attention to detail will come with ease to the successful candidate, who also possesses strong organizational and communication skills. The Manager will have experience planning, budgeting and forecasting, as well as the ability to analyze data and manage gift information, with understanding of relevant CRA regulations, gift vehicles and their charitable tax implications. Technically savvy, the Manager possesses advanced knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or a similar CRM platform, Microsoft Office, and other graphic software (InDesign, Photoshop, etc).

Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000
