About Advancement At Branksome Hall
Thanks to the generosity of Branksome parents, alumnae, grandparents, employees and other friends, Branksome Hall is a leading and innovative institution. Community giving has a positive and direct impact on all areas of Branksome, from innovative academic and co-curricular programs to world-class facilities and life-changing student financial assistance offerings.
In 2015, we opened our award-winning Athletics and Wellness Centre, built thanks to the generosity of our donors who contributed over $15 million through our Branksome Becomes campaign. Students are now benefiting from our two saltwater swimming pools, yoga and dance studios, rowing centre, multi-purpose gym, high-performance fitness centre, as well as a bright dining hall and outdoor terraces.
This year, Branksome Hall raised more than $2.2 million. Many community members choose to make major gifts in support of particular school projects or campaigns. Gifts of this magnitude can be pledged over multiple years, typically ranging from $25,000 to those in the seven-figures.
Over the last few years, the Annual Appeal program raised about $1 million in support of facilities, programs, technology and equipment, and student financial assistance.
The 10 Elm Society recognizes donors who have chosen to make a legacy gift to Branksome. Legacy gifts include bequests, gifts of life insurance, and other vehicles and types of planned gifts. Moving forward, the Campaign for Branksome Hall will focus initially on a capital project that will allow Branksome to provide students with state-of-the-art and innovative learning environments.
