Session Overview:
From the global pandemic to climate change, war and political upheaval, the past few years have seen change on every front. In the philanthropic sector economic uncertainty looms large, the ways Canadians give are shifting, and organizations are being asked to rethink the status quo as they consider what they do, and how they do it.

Key learnings from this session will include:

  1. Identification of key trends driving change in philanthropy
  2. How societal pressures are impacting donors’ giving decisions
  3. The growth of Donor-Advised Funds and how to work with these donors
  4. Examples of how charities are responding to the trends and shifting their approach, messaging and practices
