University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) is seeking a new President & CEO to partner with our Board, our donors, and our member hospitals to transform healthcare throughout South Eastern Ontario and beyond. This position is available due to the upcoming retirement of the current incumbent.
The President & CEO will serve as the Chief Development Officer for the Foundation, setting the overall fundraising strategy and actively engaging prospective and current donors. The new incumbent will be responsible for facilitating the work of the Board, liaising with the member hospitals, managing the programs and operations of the foundation, leading and managing staff, and coordinating professional relations with the community.
The President & CEO of UHKF will report directly to the Board Chair, and will work in partnership with the Board to set a strategy of the organization. The new leader will be ultimately responsible for identifying and implementing programs to achieve this strategy, and will have operational accountability to the Board. With oversight for UHKF’s fundraising success, the President & CEO will be responsible for building donor relationships in the community and ensuring the achievement of financial objectives.
As a member of the leadership team of Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) and Providence Care, the President & CEO will maintain strong, productive, and collaborative relationships with the executive teams of our member hospitals and work closely with these stakeholders. The new incumbent will foster positive relationships within the health care philanthropic community.
