Position Title: Annual Fund Manager

Assist the Director of Development with establishing strategies and goals for the Annual Fund;
Develop a year-long schedule for the timing of all Annual Fund events and activities;
Oversee all Annual Fund appeal activities, such as phonathons, coffee mornings, personal visits, meetings, etc, including the preparation of any materials, recruiting volunteers, coordinating facility arrangements, evaluation and acknowledgement of volunteers;
Track all Annual Fund activity and prepare statistical and analytical reports;
With the Communications office, assist in developing the marketing strategy for the Annual Fund;
Oversee specific and strategic Annual Fund giving programs, segmented to address the different contituents (alumni, parents – current and past, faculty/staff, young alumni and grad class, grandparents, suppliers);
Develop and implement strategies to increase participation levels from parents, alumni, and international familes;
Assit in ongoing donor identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship moves;
Assit with the process in the identification of appropriate annual fund projects, working with the Senior Leadership Team;
Work with specific users and stakeholders, providing ongoing updates on projects from start to completion;
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development;
Minimum bachelor’s degree;
CFRE certification or on track to CFRE certification desired;
3-5 years experience in fundraising, preferably in education;
Experience with a fundraising database, preferably Raiser’s Edge;
Demonstrated experience and understanding of the donor cultivation cycle;
Knowledge of AFP’s “Donor Bill of Rights” and Ethical Standards;
Experience working with and managing volunteers;
Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office;
Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, collaboration and communication skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
Creative problem-solving skills coupled with solid judgment;
Professionalism, energy, passion and commitment necessary to achieve the responsibilities of this position;
Independent school experience is an asset.
